理论上200米1/30命中率实际没可能达到，可能会低达1/459(维多利亚战役），在远距离多打几轮，让士兵多负重20磅很不值。
法国士兵横排间距0.625米，在这么窄范围挤，很容易混乱。

1/30只是近距离射击实际可达到的命中，远距离无论地形，一轮射击烟弥漫，视野就不行了。
背着3支枪在0.625米两人交错，不用说4排，两排交错也会大乱。另外，第2排要伸出枪在第一排肩以上开火，枪只能放在一二排间狭小空间地上，拣起来比第一排费劲，动作稍慢枪会绊倒第一排挤过来的兵。

还有亚伯拉汉战斗是法军凑上去的...

沃尔夫不在中间阵线，开始只是负了轻伤，后两次中弹才一次比一次致命。
法军是先向前开进的，英军大约在法军接近后才向前进。
