我想有许多人会怀有和我一样的误解。

儒尔当在革命初期的瓦蒂尼，弗罗吕斯，奥尔登霍温为共和国赢的了关键的会战胜利。

关于这几仗，我觉得有至少一半的功劳要归于“胜利的组织者”卡尔诺，另一半确实要归功于法国军队以及儒尔当等在前线奋战的法军将领。

卡尔诺确实太了不起了，儒尔当日后1798年的征兵法很大程度是脱胎于卡尔诺的经验。除了是胜利的组织者，他还是大数学家，工程师。其后代也很能干，孙子当了一任总统。
卡尔诺也曾在弗罗吕斯带头冲锋。关于这一仗有个疑问：关于贝尔纳多特。看的小传都说他是旅长，但战斗序列里没找到。难道他是给迪埃姆作“替补”。此战后贝尔纳多特升了师长，是否表现不错呢？

Order of battle of the French Army on June 20

The French Army is strong of 89 592 men for which it will be necessary to withdraw the 8 625 men of Muller division who will not partiperont with the battle.
Right wing

It is ordered by the General Marceau and is composed of:

    * Division Marceau (Brigades Lorges and Hardy) strong of 7 961 men
    * Division Mayer (Brigades Prestal and Lecourbe) strong of 8 517 men.

This wing had its line on the level of Auvelais and of the wood of Copiaux while resting on Sambre and its left in the neighbourhoods of Campinaire had (near to Lambusart). The avant-gardes occupied Baulet, Wanfercée and Velaine.
Center

The center of the army is composed of three divisions:

    * Division Lefebvre (brigades: Leval, Jacopin and Sulzmann) for a force of 8 815 men. This division was attached to that of Marceau to Campinaire (on its line thus) and its left was in Wagnelée. Its avant-garde was in Fleurus.
    * Division Championnet (brigades: Legrand, Attic and Lerivant) for a force of 9 088 men. This division had its line on Wagnelée and its left in the neighbourhoods of Heppignies. Its avant-garde held Mellet and Saint-Fiacre.
    * Division Morlot (Brigades: Olivier and Simon) for a force of 8 578 men. This division had its line in front of Gosselies and its left in front of Thiméon.

Reserves of the center

    * Reserve infantrie Hatry made up of the brigades Chapsal and Bonnet for a force of 11 064 men. Positioned in withdrawal of the center with Ransart.
    * Division of cavalry Dubois made up of the Soland brigades and D' Hautpoult for a force of 2 713 riders. It is positioned it also in Ransart.

Left wing

It is made up of three divisions, including one, Muller division will not be present the day of the battle bus sent in reinforcement at the General Schérer to defend Sambre until Maubeuge.

    * Division Kléber (brigades: Duhesme, Fusier and Schlatters) for a force of 9 969 men. This divisions is positioned on its right-hand side in the neighbourhoods of Gosselies and on its left on the heights in front of Jumet, forming one second line of the left wing.
    * Division Montaigu (brigades: Richard, Poncet and Boisset) for a force of 8 358 men. The line of this division is located at Pedestrian, its center with Trazegnies and its left in the neighbourhoods of the wood of Heaps and of Forchies.
    * Division Muller (brigades: Ransonnet and Chevallier) strong of 8 625 men, this division does not take part in the battle.

Reserve of left

    * Daurier strong brigade of 5 904 men, positioned with Fountain-the Bishop, Lernes and Wespe.

La veille de la bataille de Fleurus, il commanda une manœuvre qu'exécuta le colonel Bernadotte et à laquelle on dut la défaite de l'aile droite des Autrichiens.

贝尔纳多特时为上校。该战中击败奥军右翼的行动是迪埃姆命令的或指挥的，贝尔纳多特执行的。当时旅长应该是迪埃姆，贝尔纳多特可能是团长或是迪埃姆的副官，在迪埃姆的指挥下领着全旅击败敌人，的确有些勇敢的表现。
