应该是第四军在第六军后面，前面一句是描述第六军方位，后面的with是紧接第六军的

To strengthen his position, Barclay de Tolly also ordered the construction of a redoubt on the heights near Gorki and some 2,000 Opolchenye troops were ordered to start building it.
这里我个人认为是巴克莱向多赫图罗夫建议由他（巴克莱）增援第二军团，占据多赫图罗夫部与Baggovut之间的区域，因为这两者之间一旦留下空隙，敌军就能从此突入，然后直接面对巴克莱本部。而且，为了加强自己的阵地，他还命令在Gorki附近高地构筑多面堡。

应当是巴克莱随即向多赫图罗夫提出建议，认为他应当“强化第2军团，将部队集结到第四军左翼……占据他所部和巴戈武特军之间的地域”

巴戈武特第一军团第二军位于最左侧，多赫图罗夫指挥的第二军团位于巴戈武特右侧，右侧依次是恰好位于戈尔基村后方的米洛拉多维奇指挥的第一军团第四军（可能还包括科尔夫骑兵军），巴克莱亲自指挥的原多赫图罗夫第一军团第六军

所以这里的他的部队——指的应当是第六军

请问这个“强化”如何理解？是第1西军团出部队还是第2西军团自己调派部队？抑或是请求统帅部预备队支援？

我觉得是第2军团内部重整，因为很多部队属于打散了重组的——比如战时就在重组的第2军团拉耶夫斯基第7军帕斯克维奇第26师

我觉得也是，巴克莱不一定有部队进行增援，而库图佐夫虽然同意了巴克莱的建议，但库图佐夫手里的队伍并没有调动到这里
