今天给Jensen写了回信:

Dear  Jensen
Thanks for you permission , and please forgive me to write to you so late . Because in the past one month , my workmates and I are busy in translating  biographies of officers ,and fortunately we have finished most of the task . Now my friends are proofreading and modifying these articles. When we finally complete this work, we will make a pdf document ,which everyone can download for free . And on the first page of this eBook, we will Indicate the source of those article , and express our gratitude to you.

We expect this plan will be fulfilled next month and release on June 23 ,200th anniversary of the Napoleon crossing Neman River.

Thanks for the update!  I have fixed Savary and Mouton's biographies
since you told me of the mistakes on them.  I will keep adding more
biographies but it is a time consuming task.  Could you send me a link
to the pdf when it is done?  And would you like me to add a link to
your napolun.com site on virtualarc.com?

Now I'm not sure when my friends can get this job done, but once it is completed , I will send you a copy.

As I have mentioned that the question about the birth date of General Josef Zayonchek last time ,In Mr. Nafziger's "Poles and Saxons of the Napoleonic Wars",he provides a more detailed biography of General Josef Zayonchek on page 134 , and wrote that the birth date of Zayonchek is 1752 . I'm not sure he is correct ,but the wikipedia of Polish holds the same idea .

But I think you may make a mistake in spelling "Moesskirch" , in fact it is "Messkirch".

刚刚收到了Jensen的回信：


Dear Gao,

What is the difference between napolun.com and bbs.napolun.com?

Regarding Zayonchek, Georges Six's Dictionnaire Biographique lists him
as born in 1762.  I suspect that Nafziger's book is correct about 1752
and Six made a mistake.  I have found other small mistakes in Six's
work, which is understandable since he did his extensive research
before computers.  I was not aware of Nafziger's book, it looks
interesting so I will order it.

I'm glad you saw the updates of Kirgener and Lamarque.  I have
experimented with showing updates in an easy way.  For Messkirch vs
Moesskirch, I wrote it as Moesskirch as that what how Georges Six
wrote it.  I think that is how the French used to spell it a century
ago.  I have probably made the same mistake on other places, I will
try to clean them up as I find them.  Thank you for notifying me.

Napolun.com is a website which provides a general information about Napoleon , it contains several detailed  biographies of Napoleon in Chinese , some introduction articles about the battles , famous characters and other materials in Napoleon era .And bbs.napolun.com is the forum of napolun.com , it's also a discussion place for our members .Both of the website and forum are found by another administrator Huangyong ( his username in our forum is "tntxhy" ) in 2001 , and have been running for more than a decade .
